Samdaddy: Anyanwu Attracts NDDC Electricity Projects In Imo, Boosts Power Supply

…Promises To Rescue Residents From Bad Roads

National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has facilitated the construction and energizing of 500KVA transformers from the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to communities in the state as part of efforts to boost power supply.

The project scheduled in three phases was kick started with the commissioning of the one sited at Don-K Estate in Uratta Community, Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo state which featured in the first phase. The PDP National Scribe was represented in the occasion by the Director General of Divine Mandate Movement (DMM), Hon Ngozi Ogbu.

The first phase of the exercise captured the nine local governments areas across Owerri Zone.

Senator Anyanwu broke the age long jinx of restoring power supply through NDDC which held residents of Don-K community in darkness for many years after leadership of the area beckoned on him for urgent rescue.

In the phase one of the project, each of the nine local government areas in Owerri zone received more than two transformers including all accompanying equipment for its energizing.

The exercise is part of the efforts of Senator Anyanwu to rescue abandoned and neglected communities suffering from epileptic power supply through his wide network of contacts with a view to putting smiles on their faces in the state.

Senator Anyanwu further promises to give some deplorable roads in Imo communities a face lift shortly after the rainy season, and solicited for the support of well-meaning Imolites to realize the vision for a better Imo state.
